Support during the Pandemic

In these unprecedented times, Community Money Advice Launceston is continuing to offer help and support to those who are struggling to manage their money and their creditors.

Like many other organisations, we have worked hard to make our offices fully Covid19 compliant and we are proud that we were able to continue to offer help and support to both existing and new clients during the first Covid19 lockdown.

Since July 2020, we are no longer able to offer a ‘drop in service’ but have been able to resume offering limited face to face meetings. These have to take place with both CMAL volunteers and clients adhering to social distancing, the wearing of face masks, the use of hand sanitizers and to use the UK Government’s ‘Track and Trace’ procedures and toolsets. We can also use Zoom meetings and Facetime to communicate with clients as well as continuing to use email, telephone and SMS.

We are continuing to work closely with our colleagues at Launceston Foodbank and Launceston Job Centre so – to both existing and new clients – please get in touch if you think we might be able to help you – and stay safe.
